MEMPHIS NATIONAL BUSINESS LEAGUE (MNBL) is a Memphis-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to the development and sustainability of communities. The organization was founded by Bishop WA Sesley who has built a life and legacy of empowerment. We are a cause organization that is focused on helping people and communities develop themselves through the use of our framework, focusing on community revitalization.

The MNBL’s vision is to develop self-sufficient families; educated, motivated and skilled youth; intellectual and critical thinking students; skilled and trained employees; educated and informed consumers; sustainable communities; and flourishing businesses.

The MNBL plans to have continuous fundraising with intentions of providing more services in parallel to all levels of fundraising.  MNBL will pursue grants, donations, foundations, memberships and government contracts.  MNBL will support and partner with other local organizations, government agencies and corporations.


The MORNING STAR LIFE SERIES dba MEMPHIS NATIONAL BUSINESS LEAGUE (MNBL) is a process improvement organization with over 40 collective years of experience in technology strategy, technology execution, process improvement, and human capital mobilization. Our organization utilizes a unique process mapping working session (Vision Mapping) to quickly identify key areas impacting task execution times, resource allocations and constraints, financial constraints, and process gaps.

The MNBL has been dedicated to assisting community, business and faith leaders in building sustainable capacity.


The MNBL is focused on solutions and services aimed at supporting collective grassroots efforts for economic, social, and civic empowerment and enrichment. The MNBL’s leadership's legacy of supporting individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations is matched by its desire to see Memphis and its entire Tri-State area uplift and improve the quality of life of all communities contained therein.

The MNBL specializes in business development and the development of life skills that prepare individuals to make responsible life choices. We have a proven ability to work with clients to help them accomplish short term and long term strategic goals (knowledge management systems). We are committed to developing and nurturing relationships through effective planning, coordinating, and evaluating client’s needs by assessing their goals, dreams, and aspirations. Thus, enabling a client to go from concept to implementation to completion to support of a project or endeavor. Concurrently, we provide operations management, event coordination, public relations management, coalition building, community partnership development, and fundraising strategies as additional services of the organization.


The Memphis National Business League's Health, Wealthy and Wise (HWW) program will teach youth (ages 16-20) and young adults (ages 21-30) about the critical thinking skills necessary to acquire financial security and independence, how to maintain a job and career focus, how to balance health, life, and work, and how to develop the community through reinvestment. 

HWW will extend life coaching and mindfulness programs and disciplines to help young people experience success on an unparalleled level.  HWW is designed to encourage civic, social, economic, and spiritual leadership with the intention of helping young people eliminate the need or inclination to consider destructive options (e.g., joining a gang or being a blight on the community and society.

HWW program is designed around 16 chapters with the first 8 chapters’ teaching individuals to first discover their own strengths.  Chapters 9-16 teach individuals how to navigate the society around them, incorporating conflict resolution and problem solving skills as critical components of the program.  The Memphis National Business League’s system turns the classroom into a simulator.  Thus, giving individuals a safe place to try, fail, adapt, and succeed.

The entire program is built to encourage empowerment and enrichment.  Life coaching and mentors are essential.  The Memphis National Business League does not expect participants to get there alone.  We incorporate coaching and training into every aspect of the program.  The Memphis National Business League reinforces this experience daily; using tools, resources, technology, apps, experiences, and expertise.

The Memphis National Business League’s commitment to its participants does not end with the culmination of a class ceremony. Instead, we recognize this initial success as the beginning of a lifetime commitment to mentor and coaching. Participants will be challenged to give back to the community and train to become future mentors and coaches themselves. Everyone Can Serve!!!

The Memphis National Business League reaches beyond the limits of the program and is constantly building relationships that will enhance the program’s experience.  The Memphis National Business League reaches out to faith, corporate, civic, government, media, entertainment, sports, technology, medical, and community leaders to partner and engage with us.

Healthy, Wealthy, Wise is not just a program, but a way of living.  The Memphis National Business League relies on exposure in the community to expand experiences and help create a shared world view for social change. Ultimately, the Memphis National Business League is dedicated to assisting all citizens in finding their passion, drive, and success.


The Memphis National Business League will market to its partners and the Memphis service, faith, and civic communities at-large.  The MNBL plans to do media promotion through radio and television.  We anticipate engaging a minimum of 30-60 young adults weekly. The MNBL plans to have additional group seminars and workshops at schools, churches, and community organizations throughout the cycle of the program. We anticipate having city message impact reach more than 3000 individuals over the course of the 5 months.
